Service Description

My goal is to meet you where you are at, and help you improve in your paddling skills and confidence. Whether starting with the basics on land of safety gear, trip logistics, packing, and water safety, or getting on the water with launching, landing, balancing, and basic strokes, or getting wet by learning how to safely exit and re-enter our kayaks in the event of a capsize, or learning the awesome art of kayak rolling, the main focus will be to have fun and boost your confidence while kayaking! The small instructor to student ratio (max of 3 students) ensures a safe and encouraging environment where you will get lots of feedback and individual coaching. Our aim is for you to leave feeling confident with the knowledge and skills to get out paddling! All of the kayaks and gear are included, but if you want to learn with your own just let me know. The location and timing is flexible depending on your availability as well as mine. Let me know what days and times you are available and we'll get out there and have some fun!
