Embark on a relaxing kayaking journey with Tidal Journeys, where you'll have plenty of space to unwind and soak in the beauty of the Puget Sound. Our trips offer a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and connect with fellow adventurers while enjoying interactive experiences with our natural world. Join us for a memorable experience that blends relaxation, nature, community, and personal reflection all in one tranquil setting. Our journey will begin at 9:00am with introductions and a meal together on our property in South Bay where you are welcome to leave your vehicle parked during the trip. From there we will travel together to our launch site and embark on a relaxing 3-hour paddle through beautiful Dana Passage to our first campsite on Hope Island. Each day of the trip will lead us to new waters, campsites, and experiences as we circumnavigate Harstine Island. Whether on land or water, our knowledgable guides will point out the wonders of nature that are available when we slow down and pay attention to our surroundings and discover the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. From shoreline strolls to intertidal scavenger hunts and exploring island habitats, you will be sure to experience something unique about each location we visit. Let our expert guides take care of you with delicious and hearty meals each day of the journey, allowing you to focus on relaxing and taking in the stunning surroundings. Our daily routines will include various focuses as we engage in activities through guided group conversations, meditations, morning and evening stretching, and other intentional activities tailored to our group's needs and interests. These activities are designed to promote mindfulness, self-reflection, and personal development. No camping gear? No problem! We offer an all-inclusive experience by providing all of the kayaking and camping gear necessary. We strive to ensure your comfort and enjoyment throughout the trip by providing high-end gear for all our guests. A detailed list of provided gear, as well as a short list of clothing and toiletries for you to bring will be sent out to guests well in advance so you can focus on enjoying the journey without any worries. The trip will conclude back at our property by 3:00pm Sunday afternoon as we return from our unforgettable journey refreshed and connected to ourselves, others on our journey, and the world around us.
